I lived in the Quad Cities. I am familiar with North Scott, but I can't recall this Rock Island Iowa town which Marlon comes from :| . Who proofs these articles? We have too many printed mistakes in the Athletic Department.

Thanks for the help. I will work on my news releases. I just hope my school can look before they publish:

Agnew is a 5-11 guard/forward from Andover, Kan., where she plays for Andover High School. A four-year starter for the Trojans, Agnew is a two-time conference MVP, a three-time first team selection and earned a spot on the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association Second Team as a junior. Last season she averaged 14.3 points last season, leading the Trojans to a 16-6 record. Agnew also earned the conference MVP honor in volleyball this fall and is has won three straight Class 5A high jump championships.

The quality of editing in gocreighton.com press releases dropped off a cliff last year for certain sports: baseball, women's soccer, women's basketball. Still high quality for men's basketball, men's soccer, and volleyball.

ESPN graded out the Big East's 2015 recruiting classes as follows:

Marquette: A+
Villanova: A-
Providence: B+
G'Town: B
Creighton: B- (ESPN doesn't even mention Krampelj in its summary - which is below. Wonder if that boosts us?)
Xavier: B-
Butler: C+
DePaul: C+
Seton Hall: C
St. John's: I (incomplete)

Creighton Bluejays
Coach Greg McDermott has a pair of very solid commitments, both of which are likely to have very nice careers for the Bluejays. Justin Patton is a long and athletic 6-foot-10 big man with excellent ball skills inside of 15 to 18 feet who is a strength program away from being a very good player. Marlon Stewart is a big, 6-foot-3 point guard who can make plays with the ball in his hands and even potentially move off the ball at times because of his size, allowing McDermott to play multiple ball handlers at the same time.

Do the two transfers count as last year? This year? Never in regards to recruiting classes?

In other news, ESPN didn't recognize our win over Oklahoma due to the fact that the point differential was provided by Zach Hanson who according to them doesn't exist.. at least not on a D1 level in recruiting.

For that matter, Brooks and Milliken didn't exist either... Thanksfully Hegner did.. but barely.. Certainly none of them are good enough to have been contributors on a team that defeated the mighty Oklahoma team....:
