Come on Chris be a Jay! You would make a great addition to the team. Hopefully, Coach Mac makes a strong push to seal the deal during his visit with Chris today.

For me personally Chris' signing has always been the most important to our future with the 2015 class, McQuaid included. Chris has the all around game and ability to carry us forward in the Big East on both ends of the floor. While I understand the "Let It Fly" concept and how fun it is to watch the reality is we need more athleticism in order to stop the other team from killing us one on one. While I would have loved for McQuaid to come and hit 3's here, I'm confident we have others in place who can do the same already here and we need all around players and good kids like Chris to take us to the next level.I hope Chris enjoyed his visit and his parents realize what a special place CU is not only for the four years he will be here but for the contacts and friends he will make for the rest of his life. Some kids are blinded by big names such as Brown or Izzo and hopefully Chris chooses Creighton because he wants to be a part of the Creighton family not just the basketball team.
