Where did you see we are in his final 3? Because that's a pretty big deal, he's a top 70/80 player.

I heard it outside of here so I can't say it's any sort of official confirmation. But that was before I even knew we were in for Cunningham, so I was pretty puzzled about it; then I saw Jayball's post.

He probably deserves his own thread, and I was surprised I couldn't find one.

Why don't you just start one?

I was going to, but I don't know anything about the guy, and I was hoping someone more on top of recruiting who might know more than I do would start one.

Can't find anything linking Creighton and a Chicago kid named Josh Cunningham who I'm thinking you're referencing. You either have deep info or have missed the mark here.
I don’t vet ‘em, I just post ‘em.

LJay - I have nothing to back it up, just what I heard. I knew better to post it and shouldn't have. We shall see, I guess.

Macura's disinterest in CU became formal when we didn't make his final 11 this week. To be frank, though, I would rather be in Demery's final five than Macura's final 11. After Macura took that unofficial and talked about playing with Doug, he stopped mentioning us in interviews. Demery's interest in CU is high, and he's a higher rated recruit than Macura.

Pls re-read the article...That list of 11 is Rashad Vaughn's list, not Macura's.

From what I've read, Macura seems to lean in favor of Minnesota but we'll see.

Slightly off topic but Providence looks like they might have a good chance of landing Terrell and Abdul Malik Abu, both top 100 prospects. Both are visiting this weekend and the vast majority of 247 is predicting that they will commit to Providence. Let's see, Cooley had Chris Webber talk to them and then had Ricky Ledo meet with them. Can we get Korver to come say hello to our recruits? If they were gonna go anywhere, it's nice to see them in the Big East atleast.
