I like how we are loading up on guards, good sized guards too.

We haven’t done a good job of giving kids their own thread. Welcome Austin!

Impressive high school performance and impressive list of suitors out of high school, but it didn’t show at Miami in a weak ACC. A backup on a 7-24 team. 38% shooter - 30% from three who became available after Miami’s new coach opted to not recruit him back, signing Tre Donaldson from Michigan. Certainly doesn’t replace Pop on paper. However, Mac must see something there he thinks can help. So hoping it just wasn’t a good fit in Miami.

(Wasn’t directed at you TBJ as I’ve heard similar comments from others the last several days).

I really like this get. The one concern I had was a lack of athleticism and potential defensive issues. This signing seems to counter some of those concerns.

Well I watched Huss play his entire bench for their comeback in the Big South tournament. We may not be heading back to Dana hockey line changes, but maybe the days of only playing 7.5 guys are behind us.

Pop played a total of eight games. Don’t have to replace much since he was never really here. If your concerned about scoring or playmaking see Josh Dix and Nik Graves

Swartz is a 2 guard. Donaldson is a PG. Not sure those 2 are related.

Swartz had similar numbers and played similar minutes to Jalil Bethea who was a 5 star freshman at Miami this year and also transferred. Miami had basically no PG after Pack decided to sit out. I wouldn’t use his freshman numbers to decide his potential. Just like I wouldn’t with Jackson McAndrew. Although his freshman numbers would have been made him our leading scorer off the bench.
