UConn looks like they are peaking at the right time again, especially on defense. Going to be very tough sledding tonight. Would not want to be a #1-2 seed facing them in the NCAAT.
“...When people ask me where I went to school at, I probably won’t even say the other school anymore. It’s just gonna be Creighton. This is where I grew, where I learned to be a man and a basketball player. This is where I became Jamiya Neal.”

Zubi is filthy… Self buried this kid on the bench? Bet Bill feels a little bit silly, double silly is what he’s paying Hunter. Gus calling Rick the Godfather. Only Gus can get away with that
At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

Luis having an off night… POY curse? If we can get past YUKON maybe, as someone pointed out, could be extra motivation for Kalk that he didn’t get it.

Amazing how good Neal can be when he’s not playing a game of The Paint Is Lava

Classic Creighton experience with Diarra (26.4% 3-point shooter) knocking down two treys to open the game.

Kevin O’Connell again. He’s become the designated Creighton team ref. He shows up at more Jays games than Billy. We probably have to save a seat for him on the team charters.

Excellent start, especially compared to last night. Time to work Kalk into the offense.
