If we win Sunday, we will be one game up on Marquette. If UConn beats SJU, we will also be one game up on UConn, and one game back of SJU.

Big Pitino fan but the soapbox speech he went on in Omaha last year about coaches riding the refs all game was ridiculous. He’s almost as bad as Hurley when it comes to hounding the refs.
Can someone explain to me why a player tosses the ball to the ref after a made basket or made free throw? The ref just bounces the ball back to the player to inbound. So pointless, unless of course you want to allow the defense time to put their press in place. Ridiculous.
the uconn loss was one of the more frustrating losses of recent memory and everything that's happened since has made it more frustrating. of all the losses we've suffered this season, that is the one that i want back the most.
This UCONN Johnnies game is awesome. So effing tough and cool. That Pitino speech gives me goosebumps every time. Gus is loving it. Best part is the St. John’s fans stealing our F—- Dan Hurley chant
At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.
