That was a season high and career-tying high 23 attempts for Kalk. Would love to see that more.

On the flight home, let Kalkbrenner have the best seat on the plane. Mac can just sit in the jump seat this time. And, if Kalk wants a second tomato juice, well, I say, screw the rules. Find him another tomato juice.

Don’t care who the Jays get in the portal this Spring, the prognosticators will have the Jays in the bottom 4 in preseason polls for next year. My god our role players were just awful tonight and Kalk and Ash were unbelievable.
I don’t vet ‘em, I just post ‘em.

We have now covered 11 straight. Every Big East game after the first one. Just remarkable. I think the Jays have officially broken Vegas. If you beat, say, $110, on Creighton to cover against Nova on December 21, and just kept letting your winnings ride, you'd be some kind of oligarch. Musk would be calling you for advice.

Trying to just enjoy the ride with these two seniors but can't help but think how high the ceiling would be with Pop not injured.

Senior veterans doing what they need to do to win road games. This wouldn't have been close without hitting that many 3's, but it was, and it was in Providence and that's just a tough place to play-- before this they'd only lost to St. Johns and Marquette at home

I still remember the year Doug was a Senior. We were on a role and went to Providence and lost an ugly 81-68 game. And this year they don't have that much talent, but English is a good coach and they play hard, especially at home

If I start down that rabbit hole, the San Diego St. E8 game will re-emerge from the vault in my brain that I've stuffed it in.

I remember that well, pretty sure the whole team had the flu (I think!). The next game was against Nova and we all know how that went. I could be wrong on all this, but hey just glad the Jays pulled this one out. Saturday will be huge with a well lubed crowd!!!
