He may be thinking about which school he will be playing for next year, and I don’t blame him.

When he's been on the floor, he's shown some flashes, but has otherwise not been that good. Box score says he was a -6 today and that looks about right given what I saw with him on the floor. He needs to keep working with the rotations guys and get into the flow. Sucks the NCAA screwed him and us this year, but we are where we are. He can be a star next year, alongside Pop

I saw that as well and it was good to see.I never implied that other universities would be trying to poach him.

Here's my gamer focusing on the bounce-back performance from the fifth-year seniors, the good and the bad on defense and what it took to secure the team's third straight win at Hinkle.

With Bizjack guarding him Neal went on a huge run with like 4 straight buckets in the second half. That created the separation we needed to fend off the Hinkle “Magic” (translates to screwing teams with the game clock and other crap) at the end.
At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

I just watched the highlights. (I couldn’t get the game in the middle of the Tasman Sea).

Kalk looked like he was moving much better than he has in a long time. Did anyone else think the same?

I’m not sure if that “lower body” injury hampered him or if he was just springy after a week off.

Yep, Kalk owned Boden Koepke like he dominated Hunter Dickinson. And lots of blocks. Mac I’m sure did what he could to “light the fire”

Thanks to Ash and Kalk for leading yet again, especially through illness yet again. Man some moments in the first looked not good but ultimately they just balled and I’m sure we don’t know the 1/2 of the struggles they’re facing (injuries and illnesses). I don’t leave my bed for 3 days when I pull a muscle yet these guys are D1 balling. Thankful.

Thanks to Neil also for really helping create the score space we needed, and to those around him of course. Was a real mix of efforts today that might not show up. Jackson, Traudt, Green, Fred all providing some help and doing what they can. Nice to see JM continue to hit big shots. Loved Green’s put-back dunk. That play always happens to us. Was nice to see it for us for once (U of O game notwithstanding of course).

Thought Fedor moved better in his limited minutes. Looked like maybe he knew where he was heading a little more than usual and moved with purpose. Wish he would have made his jumper. Feel like he should have. Would have been nice. Call me whatever but I also liked the scene of him with his teammates at the end locking arms. He’s interested so that’s a plus.

I hear the spacing comments as a bit of a defense of Miller but, if I’m an opposing coach and not having his guy 10 feet off of him at all times, I’d be worried about my job security. Make the guy make 3 in a row, let alone 1, before you even acknowledge him. It’s 4 of 5, every time, in my couch opinion. His defense? I’m not smart enough to notice if it’s any good but do assume he’s useful to some extent. Choosing to trust here.

While they were “hungry” and there’s “magic” and all that, this could not have been a loss if we want to remain remotely serious. Glad and thankful we got it. Trending upwards and I’m here for it.

While he's struggling with the situation, he was talking about next year at Creighton when Matt and I spoke to him after practice on Tuesday. Maybe if things just never click the whole rest of the season people will get in his ear, but he's not checked out by any means.

Kalk and Fedor has a good relationship. Saw them do their own handshake after the win

My first half standout player of the game goes to Ash while my 2nd half standout player of the game goes to Kalk.
I also noticed Miller continues his hot streak of +/- as he was leading the team until giving up that late 3. Say what you will about +/- but the only thing that counts is how the team does while you are in the game. It appears Mac is playing Jackson and Green most of the first half minutes while Miller and Traudt get extended minutes in the 2nd half.
