Steve gave him the ball. I’m sure he knew that he was one assist away.

I do not get Miller’s minutes. He is no threat on offense and I don’t buy that he is a defensive stalwart.

I don’t get it either. But also really hard to argue when we built the entire lead running with him and Traudt, despite how good Green and McAndrew were playing.

Green scored a whopping 2 more points than Miller. MAYBE he was contributing in ways that don't show up in a box score? They built the big lead with Miller on the court. And, despite the 1 3 pointer he gave up, kept Mccafrey pretty quiet in the second half.

Neal might not have known. In any case, I prefer the class shown in not taking that meaningless bucket. As opposed to planting the flag on an opponents logo, like you see so often football.

a lot of what makes Miller effective, even if he isn't hitting shots yet, is that he really helps with spacing on offense. Especially when he's out there with Kalk, Ashburn, and Neal. Neal in particular gets a lot of room when Miller and Traudt are on the floor with him. And with Kalk and Ashburn we often end up with a 2 man game and Miller having a defender attached to his hip means teams have a lot less room to help inside

He's also become a good defender (the last 3 pt shot excluded) and like you said, he kept McCffrey quiet and took some turns on Telford and was effective also.

I think before the season Jacob said this was a "Strange" roster or something like that. Now with Isaacs out, it's even more strange. Fedor's not the additional ballhandler we need yet, and we have a lot of guys who can do specific things, but not everything we need in a position (i.e., some guys bring D and physicality, but not shooting, and vice versa). To me it's not that strange that we are seeing Miller play extended minutes in the second half of games and also not that strange that we're seeing some of the best minutes by the team with him playing

Green did a great job tipping out rebounds that at least a few went to Ashworth.

I just don’t buy it with Miller. I know that Mac trusts him more, but he really isn’t bringing anything. Maybe it’s a good thing, but in this game he wasn’t even looking to shoot it. Every time he got the ball he would play hot potato with it.

Gritty road win today in a game they needed to get. Stats were posted on gocreighton. Jackson McAndrew led the way in +/- today at +9. Miller and Neal tied for 2nd at +6. Miller continues to be puzzling. Without him scoring, there seems to be some consistency of the team playing better when he is out there. It wasn't rebounding today either, but perhaps his defense and floor spacing made a difference.

Side note, Fedor was last at -6 in his limited minutes.

and yet the team gets and stretches leads the most often when Miller's in the game. See my comments above. Green does little to stretch the floor and create space, although he and Miller have had some very good minutes together also, but we're also trying to play Green at the 3, which isn't the best use of his skills, IMO

He may be thinking about which school he will be playing for next year, and I don’t blame him.

It was good to see the camera shot of Fedor with his teammates, arms locked with huge smiles about the success the team was having on the floor. He looks pretty darn happy with his teammates.

Despite the NCAA BS and his struggles to date, I bet he'll be back and be the true advertised threat he's supposed to be after more play and a summer running with the 1st team...etc. Andy nobody's going to really try to steal him as he hasn't shown he's worth trying to steal away from CU yet.
