Why wait for Villanova when we can lose by 20 in the second half to Georgetown?

2014-15… MVC leftovers after McBuckets graduation

They finished the season 14–19, 4–14 in Big East play to finish in a tie for ninth place

At least that team had heart and a lot of fight. This team looks so discombobulated

Kalk spending most of each possession at the top of the key and beyond. Really maddening.

Back to the drawing board for Mac. He got badly outcoached by his buddy.

I’m not sure it’s badly out coached as it’s just badly out played. GT wants it more and we look like we can’t be bothered to be here

Macs not above criticism. If you've been around long enough, I've given out plenty.

But this isn't coaching. We don't have very good players, and the ones we do have aren't surrounded by what they need to be in order to maximize their own talent and skills. The only guy on the roster I would be overly upset about losing after this year is McAndrew.

We've been told how improved Miller, Traudt, Green are several times over several years. None of those guys should be playing as many minutes as they are, for a serious or good team. It's not their fault, they're trying hard. But that just shows how lackluster the roster is. We've been spoiled the last 8 or so years.

Do everything we can to keep McAndrew, hope Greer is an immediate contributor, and get the check books out for the portal

I'm not letting the players off the hook. Kalk looked disinterested or sick, not sure which is true. Seems the only competitor we have night in and night out is Ash. It can't be good for Mac's trust.

I am not really convinced this is even an NIT team at this point. Georgetown is not good. Could be a long conference season.

This rosters is fatally flawed, and we are going to need to overhaul next year.

1: ???, Davis, ???
2: Pop, Fedor, Greer
3: ???, Green, ???
4: Mcandrew, Traudt, ???
5: ???, King

We need to find impact guys at the 1, 3, & 5 as well as depth pieces, it’s gonna be a big task
