He was sent home for off the court stuff. Not looking great for him.

That begs the question. Is that an isolated thing or has that been an ongoing issue, and if the latter, does it have something to do with him never seeing the floor even in our exhibition games?

The next game is Saturday, and it’s still out in Vegas. Not sure when they return to Omaha after that, but it’ll be a short turnaround to get ready for Kansas.

I can’t believe that after all these years we finally get KU to come here and this is the roster and form we will have for it.

I was shocked to hear that he wasn’t gonna play this year with how talented he is . This makes sense it it’s off court stuff

A lot of pessimism on this board lately. I actually came away from the TAMU game feeling slightly encouraged after the horrid showings against Neb and SDSU. If TAMU is good (it remains to see how good) then we are good. Jackson with some huge threes in the last 8 minutes, and I like what I've been seeing from Pop (minus the TOs). Ash had a decent first game back from injury. We did make some boneheaded plays at the end that good teams don't make. Neal with a couple of blunders. Kalk allowing an And1 in the last minute, and followed up by missing a free throw. That pretty much put TAMU in the driver's seat. By far I think the biggest issue for the team right now is turnovers, especially the "live ball" kind. We've given up way too many pick-six baskets. I think Traudt and Miller's shooting will come around. Neal should just stop taking threes all together.

I think it's clear we aren't as good as the last 2-3 years, but we all thought that would likely be the case after losing Baylor and Trey. I think a reasonable goal for this team is to finish top 4 in BE and earn a top 8 seed in NCAAs. Still very doable. I don't think this roster can expect to do much more than that, unless Fedor becomes eligible.

Sorry to hear the news about LJ, if true.

Is this legit? Really just questioning how we could be 11. And I didn’t think the first NET had been released yet.

The bigger standout from that link to me was the Lou Carneseca news — I hadn’t heard that.

On topic — yeah, garbage. You can’t tell me UConn is still #2 either.

These are the last NET rankings from March before the last tournament.

Five weeks short of reaching 100. A remarkable life. Wonder who inherited all his sweaters.
