Neleigh Gessert went off for 35 points and shot 9-15 from 3 in the Metro Conference Tournament final. It's the most points scored in a final and the most 3-pointers made in any round of the tournament.

Norah flirted with a triple-double in the game by my count as well with 9 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds.

The Wildcats won the Metro Tourney two years in a row (with a state title in between). Clear favorite to repeat as Class A champs this year.

Think they look Creighton ready? Knowing the massive losses CU has after this year?

Neleigh is streaky, but from a physical and confidence standpoint I think she'll have no problem playing early; she's the volume scorer of the two. Norah is much more of a pass-first player who might be able to be a glue player early in her career.

The two 2006 Minnesota commits are not in the top 5 for 2026 in Prep Girls Hoops rankings.

Jayla Williams is # 4 in Iowa for 2026 for same ranking service.

We will have 4 returns + 5 new recruits for 2025-26. I think WBB can do 15 scholarships, but Flan never has. He has 11 right now

so 2-6 (2-3 seems more likely) more recruits for the spring. I know he said he had recruits at the Connecticut game coming up.

The Jr. girl at Millard West that plays with the twins is also 6'1. Her twitter said a Drake scholarship

Previous link had a SD girl also, but maybe 26-27?

Most of the 2025 class is at CHI today. Looks like there are several other players on visits too
