And about a minute after he entered the portal, he withdrew from it. Strange

Self confirmed he is transferring.

1. Kadary Richmond
2. Noah Locke
3. Tristan Enaruna

Those should be the top 3 dream targets

Ed Chang of Missouri, from Papillion, in portal. Not that we’d want him, but brought it up because he was discussed here back in the day.
“...When people ask me where I went to school at, I probably won’t even say the other school anymore. It’s just gonna be Creighton. This is where I grew, where I learned to be a man and a basketball player. This is where I became Jamiya Neal.”

Some of the guys we've been linked to, that don't seem to be considering us:

Kadary Richmond- Looks like it's down to Florida State, Oklahoma State, Seton Hall

Tamar Bates (no surprise)- Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Washington, Gonzaga

Rocket Watts- Florida State and Louisville

So based on Bates' prior comments, should we consider Mizzou the front-runner with the only black head coach? Odd that he was so pro-Shaka but won't give Marquette a look.

Shame about some of the local kids not doing so hot between Chang and Chandler.

There are some really good PF/Fwds in the transfer portal...shouldn't we at least give a good look at say...

Pfs - Tre Mitchell, UMass - Prosper, Clemson - Reuvers, Wisc - Timberlake, Miami (FL) - Flagg & Marfo, TAMU - Danilo Djuricic, Harvard - Brakefield, Duke -
Thompson, Indiana - Parker Fox, D2 - Ntambwe, TT
others including our own Dimon Carrigan from FIU (Boston) (just kidding on Carrigan).

Ctrs - Kessler, UNCCheat - Igiehon, L'ville - Mitchell & Freeman, Minnesota - Ira Lee (Immed), AZ - Edra Luster (Immed), ECU -
Patrick Tape (Immed), Duke

Some excellent talent, some excellent fits, in the portal.
"This is our time. This is our great opportunity... Standing strong - for a great, great future." - Fr Timothy Lannon, SJ
“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” - Nicholas Klein (1918)

As of today, St. John’s has six players in the portal (Williams, Earlington, Cole, Moore, Roberts, and McGriff). Cole Swider of Nova also in the portal.
