Wichita State transfer Erik Stevenson tells me that he has cut his list to the following schools (in no particular order):

Washington
Oregon
Gonzaga
Maryland
San Diego State

Not shedding any tears...

Didn’t Z verbal without visiting campus? Or was it just without meeting Mac?

Thank goodness we won’t have to deal with Stevenson, who would be a poor fit for offense and culture. Wichita now up to 6 transfer-outs, 5 of them scholarship players... not ideal in this new recruiting era.

Pretty good article on transfers and how it's gonna get worse with the new transfer rule.

It’s a mess down here and that article had 1 purpose, make the fans feel it’s not just WSU (Marshall).

Grill committed to SDST(South Dakota), had a great tourney weekend and everyone offered. Settled on ISU. No help to us next year, later maybe.

Short of defections for pros or otherwise and assuming no injuries, Jays don’t need any transfer infusion help for next season. Certainly an Antwann Jones sit 1, play 3 would work. No frosh discussion from me since this is the transfer thread.
I don’t vet ‘em, I just post ‘em.

There are a couple of players out there that you don't say no to like Nolley or Towns but agree with your point.

True, although another big man might help in case Epperson isn't yet healthy. That's also why a traditional transfer who would sit a year makes so much sense. They get time to adjust and develop and add a more veteran presence to the team the year after next.
