I will add that I’ve read probably a dozen stories about all the different looks KU can now show. 0 mentions of Tristan Enaruna.

If he decommits now he'll still have to sit out a year since he signed his LOI, I believe. NCAA passed new rules on similar scenarios earlier this year but Tristan isn't covered (unless Self leaves, that is). He could try for a waiver, I guess, but I don't think he'd get it. It's unfortunate that kids like him are so entranced by bluebloods, in part because of their draw, but also in part because they're overconfident in their own abilities. Then the bluebloods go recruit over them immediately. I'd be surprised if he gets more than 10 MPG on the season, now. So much for having minutes open there.

Just read it online. You are correct. Sits out a year as a penalty unless extenuating circumstances leverage otherwise.

For Enaruna, don't RS (not likely to be in the cards anyway), get what you can out of the nutrition and S&C while trying to get some minutes as at least a role player. Get prepped to find another school and sit out a year to transfer.

By then we may have Mors or some of our other targets, so likely not on our radar

Lol, Kansas is the favorite for Jalen Wilson (6’8 top 50) and now grad transfer Isaiah Moss. On top of that, they have a bunch of players returning. Creighton has Martin leaving. All since Tristan committed. Tough

Usually don’t lament on these things but this one bothers me. I follow the Jayhawks and once again I just read a article by the KU beat writer talking about the strength of their front court (5 names mentioned, no TE) and the need for perimeter scorers. No mention again,

I'm really starting to think it was KU from the moment they offered and he just drug out the recruiting process.

I don't know. Based on everything I saw/heard, I thought he was a lock. His whole "impact/playing time" spiel went by the wayside in my opinion.
