Exactly. They can't countenance a team like us taking a guy from them, even if they want that player to be a role player that sits the bench.

Out of curiosity, I googled to find out what this same blogger said about Mitch Ballock. Found a gem of an article predicting the following:

Colin Sexton will pick Kansas. (He picked Alabama)

With Sexton committing, Trae Young would pick Kentucky (He picked Oklahoma), but would have picked Kansas without the Sexton commit.

Troy Brown, Jr picks Kansas. (Oregon)

Deng Gak (Miami) and Codey Riley (UCLA) would also pick Kansas.

Oh, and he predicted Ballock to Kansas.

He’s the college basketball version of this guy

Bill Swerski: Da question is: Now, did God create Da Bears, and make them superior to all teams? Or is he simply a huge fan, and Ditka made them superior to all other teams?

Carl Wollarski: That’s a tough one.
At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

I'm anxiously waiting to see if he just announces out of the blue, or sets an announcement date

I'm guessing he is waiting to see if Kansas lands any of these other guys before making a decision. It really sounds like it is 50/50 at this point.

Reading the Kansas boards, if he does, it sounds more like 10% Kansas. They don’t seem to have any interest in him.
So long Valley, hello big time.

Doesn’t matter, he doesn’t read that. If he has interest in them that’s where he’ll be
