Was hoping Hurt would pick KU, but he chose Duke.

Am I wrong to think that it is starting to look extremely unlikely we are getting him? I now he visits this week still but it really is starting to look like Kansas is where he will go.

Why is it "starting to look like" he is going to KS?

Certainly he could end up there but not sure much has change recently.

Yeah with Udoka Azubuike coming back for his senior year, the possibility of De Sousa getting an appeal, and potentially returning Dotson/Grimes playing time could be limited at Kansas

I guess I don't see it that way. We aren't going to be likely to beat them too often when they make someone a priority, but in this case, it's clear Enaruna was low on their list and it's only due to them missing their primary targets that he's moved up for them. What that means in reality is that as soon as they sign him, the start looking to recruit over him and that minutes will be hard to come by for him.

With us, it's just the opposite. He's filling a big need and minutes will be there for him, not to mention he's a guy we'd look at to be a fixture for his entire time here.

Ballock was a life long Kansas fan and turned them down for us -- I think because of the above. He recognized that the minutes and opportunity would come from Creighton and not from a Kansas team that would look at him more as a role player.

Kansas hosting grad transfer TJ Holyfield has a much bigger impact on Enaruna than any of the aforementioned players. Holyfield has a connection with Illinois as Underwood was his coach at SFA, but Holyfield is much more of a finished product, today, than Enaruna. My guess would be Kansas staff would want Holyfield over Enaruna.

really hoping Ballock is the host for Tristan on his visit.

Illinois currently doesn't have any scholarships so that helps. I think Holyfield is definitely the preference for Kansas as well.
