correct, unless this transfer waiver gets pushed through, AND he has a 3.0 GPA or better, then the new rule would allow him to play right away

IIRC we lost some euro big to GCU - I went and looked at their roster but didn't recognize a name.

however - casey benson who we recruited really hard out of HS - and had a nice career for DA at Oregon was a grad transfer last season - was sort of surprised by that

GCU has quite a few things going for it as an under the radar program

Roberts Blumbergs was the big. He did not have a great freshman season. Averaged 5.2 points and 3 rebounds in 13.2 minutes per game while taking more 3s than 2s and shooting 21.8% on those 3s.

As for Benson, his brother is an assistant coach at GCU.
