On the Severe show, Piv said there have been talks with Groselle about walking on if Mulder accepts, since he will be grad student.

Malik Newman will be committing to Mississippi St. This can pretty much close our book on Mulder.

Honestly... It would be nice to have him but I'd rather have players who actually WANT to play for Creighton. Not players who come here because it's their last option

PLEASE, "last option". if we get this kid it is because we want him and the coaches did one hell of a job getting him here. He is a JUCO 1st team all American. Any team with a need at the 2-3 would want him and those showing an interest besides us include Wichita State, Louisville, Indiana and Kentucky.

"Sources" on twitter seem pretty certain that he'll be signing with the Wildcats this weekend. Good scouting by our staff, but UK's more than a little tough to beat for a recruit.

Not surprising. It would have been great to get Mulder, but it should give Thomas/Stewart a chance to play this year. Getting Marcus on Sunday was much bigger than getting Mychal, IMO, even though he isn't eligible next year.

How many former Creighton players would even be former Creighton players if they had offers from Kentucky & Indiana?

That's comparing apples to oranges. We were in the MVC until 2013. Let's revisit that question in 10 years
