I knew nothing about this guy, so I just looked up his stats. He presumably has 3 years of eligibility left, unless there's something beyond the stats that we don't know.

Is a 6' 3" guard. As a Freshmen, averaged a bit more than 15 points. Was top 30 in the nation in steal percentage. Was ranked #5 in kenpom's top NEC player rankings (3 of the other 5 were Seniors and 1 was a Junior). Made .779% of FTs, .509% of 2Ps, and .412% of 3Ps (33 for 80). Put up 24 points on 10-15 shooting against UNC, which was his 2nd career game. Put up 22 against Duke in the tournament. Overall, had a 104.1 offensive rating, which is pretty impressive for a high usage Freshman guard. The NEC's fairly weak, but his ability to put up points against Duke and UNC makes it clear that he's a Big East talent.

Anyway, no idea how hard we're after him, but other than Damion Lee (and I suppose the theoretical possibilities of Marcus Foster or an unknown player), he's as proven of a player available and interested or potentially interested in CU.

For us, thats probably true unfortunately. Nice stats though but can't help us next year...

No reason for anyone to be downgraded because they'd have to sit out a year. If we don't get anyone else for next year, fine.

If we could get a Clayton Custer, a Marcus Foster, even a Marcquise Reed for next year, why wouldn't we? Our team this year has weaknesses, sure, but why not take a high quality player, even if they have to sit out a year? We did it with Mo and Cole.

I see Ike Nwamu got his release from Mercer. He could play this year. 6'5"g with major ups. Don't know if we are looking at him but I've heard that we may have a secret visitor next weekend. He shot 40% from 3 at Mercer. Go Jays!

RMU transfer Marcquise Reed told @CBSSports he will visit Tulsa (4/17-4/19), UMass (4/24-4/26), and USC (5/1-5/3). Also considering Clemson.

Not sure how interested we are......my guess is if Custer/Foster/Mulder etc. don't materialize, our interest might increase if he hasn't committed yet.

Been watching some you tube of Ike Nwamu and if we aren't looking at him we should be. If we could Ike and Molder we would have a team that could make the best run ever at CU. Go Jays!
