Thanks Duke. Nothing more than speculation at this point, but I don't think that we are recruiting him anymore. However until we hear anything official (visit list) I will keep him on our target board.

Dillard supposedly has alot of "off the court" issues. I think we moved on....

Dillard was high on Wojo's list earlier in the summer. But once Haanif Cheatham committed to MU that interest cooled considerably. That complemented with Jet's accurate "off the court issues" statement and I don't think there is much interest from MU even if Ellenson commits elsewhere (God forbid). Go Jays.

FYI: Since Marlon Stewart's commit to the Jays...Ty Hudson to Clemson over the weekend, now Noah Blackwell to Long Beach St.

Are we still involved with Isaiah Moss at all? I know he took an unofficial at the end of August, and it seems like he's gotten a few more pretty solid offers lately. He has an official to DePaul coming up.

My guess is we are waiting to see what happens with Clarke before we offer Moss.

That would make sense. Good point.

Just popped up in Piv's chat

Steven Pivovar: Obviously, Clarke the guy the Bluejays really want at this point. He's at Tennessee this weekend. There are a lot of guys out there still, but impressions I'm getting from chatting with the coaches is that CU might back off the recruiting, regardless of the decision Clarke makes, until the spring. CU still has two scholarships to fill, but they also have two guys, Huff and Watson, who won't be playing this year. Could be a case the coaches step back and assess how the guys they will play this year fit with Huff and Watson, and then make a decision in the spring on where help is needed.

Kinda thought the coaches may be at this point.

A potential problem with that strategy is the junior class NEXT year will be large so you have to be pretty picky about juco's who are predominantly juniors as they migrate up (Zierdan, Huff, Watson, Hansen).

Could be a positive sign that the staff likes what they will have next season quite a bit, and is confident that they can wait to find the best possible fits. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like if the coaches were really anxious about the 2, 3 or 4 spots going forward, we'd have seen more recruiting activity. Instead, we've seen hot pursuit for a PG, and total focus on Clarke and McQuaid, both surely with the staff's knowledge that the battles might not end in Creighton victory.

Agree with LJay's Juco comment. Rather not see any in this class. Another HS recruit and maybe a graduate transfer would be much better in terms of balance.

It's college hoops, so wouldn't be surprised if we end up having 5 total scholarships to give versus the 4 we currently have, with Patton and Stewart taking 2 of them. And, there is always Khyri Thomas, who seems, at least me, somewhat likely to end up on Creighton's roster.
