Alright folks, anybody have any intel? Hilltop - even if you simply post a blank face or a period or a question mark, I'll get excited.

I have a feeling we will hear something today or tomorrow.

God wears Creighton Blue, wore the same Jays sweatshirt as mcQuaid yesterday,...and watches the Jays on his days' off.

Coach Lutz was in the DFW metroplex yesterday, per his twitter and instagram, and it was a "perfect night in the lone star state" or something like that, if you're into trying to ascribe meaning to that sort of thing.

The stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of Taxes, er...Texas.

They play this tune at almost all Texas sporting events, right after "The Star Spangled Banner".

The MSU Rivals board has a new topic on the BB forum saying that they are hearing that news is coming tomorrow. They don't say if it's about Matt and I can't get on the board to see what is specifically said. Anyone have any info?

My earlier optimism is waning.

Mine is also. It makes no sense, however. MSU is a great school and Izzo seems like a class guy- but so is Mac. CU's advantage is that the skills Matt brings are set up perfectly for CU. Having just seen what Doug accomplished at CU ( with only 1 year in the Big East), it shows if you have the program that fits your skill set and lets you play, you will be seen on the national level. Our spot for him is clear- at MSU they have others at his position and other spots where they may focus their offense. Lastly, bball is def #1 at CU and as others have said, he has seen the atmosphere for the Jays at Doug's last game. CU will prepare him for life after college as well. This could be an exciting announcement for Matt and CU in the near future. We do have a vacancy as they say.

I have no idea what's gonna happen, but I'm still optimistic. If he comes home from Michigan State and commits to Creighton right away, that looks like a slap in the face to Izzo. The longer he waits, the better I like our chances. If he chooses MSU, so be it. Bad choice on his part, but we move on. We already have two big time players committed. We'll find two more.
