SavannahJay brings up excellent points irt Brand Recognition. We have only been "national" for 1 year (thanks FoxSports), but the impacts have been significant.

Recruits "know" Creightons' Brand and style...saw 'em play on TV a lot.
Fans (non-CWS) across 'Murika not only saw the Jays, but now know where Omaha is located.
We got tons of print, web-based, and televisión exposure and coverages. (Much due to Fox's TV package, much do to Doug's rise as a star player, and some due to the teams execution and the beatdowns put on Marquette, Villanova, on Wiscy and Cal last year, and generally playing reasonably well in 3 consecutive NCAA's).
The BE is getting much notoriety due to The Fox TV contract, other monetary gains (and by tackling some of the hard scheduling needs -conf vs conf challenges), etc.

Our Brand was good previously, but limited in área and scope. This move has opened both doors wide and the Jays have been ushered into a brave new world.
Fortunately our Brand is also unique: Private school - Small size - Top Academics - Excellent prof : student ratios - Top wired university - Hoops is King (no NCAA football) - Exciting style of Play: #LetitFly #ShooterU - Top 6 conference - Top Athletics and basketball program (Basketball Times) - Excellent facilities - Excellent university administration support - Top Athletic Director and staffs.

Of all of that our top academics, small size, and no football are 3 of our strongest selling points. Duke is the only other small-sized university in that group above...and they have benefitted from their ACC affiliation emmensely. If the Jays can grow along the lines of Duke's Program, we will also benefit significantly over time, from our move to the big leagues.

Is there a guy in the nation who is more perfect for a system than Matt is for CU?

Be a Jay, Matt!

Chris Clarke will also cut his list when he gets home from the windy city. I wonder if Matt and Chris have thought about how unguardable they would be playing together at CU. That's my dream. Go Jays!

Normally this would be an exaggeration. But in this case, it's true. Matt is the ideal player for our system. I really hope it works out.
