Yesterday Manvel (Leon's team) beat Fort Bend Clements. LGIII was named player of the game. 20 pts on 50% shooting from the field, 11 rebs, 3 assists, 1 block and 3 TOs. Score was 61-55. Today they beat South Houston 57-42. Stats aren't posted yet.

We lost last night by three to Pearland in the championship game. Leon made all tourney team. We were down by ten in the last 40 seconds and he brought us back up to only 3. When he hit a three pointer from half court and got the foul. He missed his first free throw. So with 5.5 sec left Pearland had the ball then they fouled and we got the ball with 2.5 sec under our basket. The ref held the ball, messed up our play and we lost. He hasn't come out his room yet...

I see Leon was again named player of the game in Manvel's victory over Dobie on January 3. Manvel won by a score of 59-43. Leon scored 16 points, shooting 73% from the field. He had 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and a block. Very impressive.

Yes he played and with a respiratory infection. We had just got out the ER the night before.
