There is always the possibility that coach decides to pay for his son, so never say never....

I do think that a PG is a priority though. The two things I wanted to get in this class were a lights out shooter and a PG. One down, one to go.

By the way, I love the fact that Z's dad is an NBA coach. Gotta love coaches' sons!

ESPN insider has a new story out about 2012 recruits. The latest is entitled "top 25 3 point shooters in the 2012 class" and Zierden made the list.

Excerpt from the article:

Isaiah Zierden, SG
St. Louis Park, Minn./Benilde Saint Margaret
Height: 6-2 | Weight: 165 pounds | Evaluation
College: Creighton
Zierden is one of the best pure shooters in the country. He has range to 22 feet, and his clip is always loaded. He is not shy about putting it up and should be able to light it up immediately for Creighton.

Early reports were that he is a Booker Woodfox shooter and he seems to keep showing up on these best shooter lists.

Zierden's team is 2-1. They play a perennial state power Hopkins tonight. Isaiah is at 19 ppg. I couldn't find any other stats

Zierden and BSM knocked of Hopkins last Friday. Isaiah had 20pts. Hopkins is the defending state champs from 4A. BSM is a 3A school.
