"I thought Creighton was the best fit for me in the end, and I felt it was the best place to go to win a national championship. I liked the whole area and Omaha, and enjoyed the team and coaches. It was a perfect atmosphere."

Not a bad plan James, not a bad plan at all.

Great story on James by Piv. in the OWH tonight, I think we are going to love James. Can't wait to see him in Blue and white. Go Jays!!!

Piv writes he is signed. I know if we miss the recruiting window, we technically have to wait for him to show up for school. Is he a commit or a signed recruit

Signed. Otherwise, McDermott could not comment on him.

Man, that article got me excited to see James in a Jays uniform. His JUCO coach said he was "the most gifted offensive player he has ever coached." In addition to a long, long list of players who have gone on to play at D1 schools, he coached Tyrus McGee at Cowley, and Tyrus put up over 13ppg this year at Iowa State.

It also sounds like he is extremely athletic and is able to create his own shot off the dribble - which is not something you can say about many players on our roster. I feel much, much more comfortable heading into the Big East with Milliken and Brooks as backcourt options. Well done, Coach Mac and staff.

I like that he shot better as the season went on. Shot 46% from 3 in Febr/March and 83% from the line in Febr/March.
