Talk about Creighton athletics.

There's been a pretty clear divide in the Athletics Administration since Marcus got here. That's not entirely his fault. Lots of people on that staff were Rass/Butch/Sarver/Brace fans who were very disappointed when Rass' retirement didn't result in an internal hire.
You can have mutual respect for someone, understand the roles one plays in an organization, and not have a great personal relationship. This is a nothing burger, IMO.

Here's the thing, you don't have to be everyone's best friend to be an effective leader. I don't know the first thing about working for MB. But I do know Mac is still here. Rosen is still choosing to take over here after having many opportunities elsewhere. Politics, business, military history, take your pick - all full of relationships where subordinates hated their superior but he or she was an effective leader who got the most out of them. Not saying they all hate MB, it doesn't seem that deep, but to say that results are not driven by how much you like each other.

I think Rosen mentioned playing 3 of the top 5 teams in noncon, but could be 4:
Wisconsin, Texas, Nebraska, Penn State.

They aren't playing Wisconsin unless it is later on but I think you can plug in Louisville instead since I think the Creighton/LV/UNI/Rice tourney is a 4 year deal.

Kansas released their schedule today. It actually looks like Creighton and Kansas are playing twice with the 2nd match as part of the Omaha tournament. Kansas is playing Omaha at Baxter on Saturday Sept 20th and both South Florida and Creighton at DJ Sokol on the 21st.
https://kuathletics.com/sports/womens-volleyball/scheduleSouth Florida finished 64th in RPI last season and had some good wins including over Florida (Kennedy Martin was out), Ohio State, Rice, and Wichita State.
