This is becoming basketball-esque in our recent dominance of the series.

Yeah, tired of losing to them at CHI. We rarely get anything out of playing them anyway. Always great beating them, regardless of which sport it is in.

The worst owh offense to me was when we won the big east tournament one year. It was in the middle of the sports section, and the big ten tournament was hosted here, and the front page of the sports was the rain out at the big ten tourney. Not us.

State of NU baseball is completely embarrassing, I can’t believe they haven’t fired Bolt.

The OWH primer for the Tuesday night game was that coming off the Oregon State series this week was nu's chance to improve on their tourney resume. No mention of CU or UNO's resumes or nu's overall losing record. Doesn't help that the guy that does the story is Evan Bland an nu loving nu grad. If you go to the OWH there is not a link to "sports", only to huskers. The story on the game was only there last night and gone today unless you look for it.

Side note after trying for 6 months I cancelled my weekend paper after 40 years.

Listened to AM1620 from 8-10 am this morning, no mention of the game. They did talk Husker bowling though (is it a bigger dynasty than the 90’s football team?) which was fascinating stuff.

Correction, they did mention the game, but no real discussion, more about the game tonight with UNO and the big ten tournament. They did touch on Servais’s last year and the coach in waiting set up. If Nebraska ever wins, they’ll spend an hour discussing every pitch.

They went 40-22, won the Big Ten Tournament and won a game at a regional last year. Two Regional appearances, one meh season and one bad one in his four full seasons before this season. When exactly were they supposed to fire him?

Standards should be higher than two regional appearances in four years given the fan support. The only season they were good enough to make any kind of run was with a bunch of Erstad’s players.
