Yes. Should be announced in the near future.

This is interesting. Found this out there:

Dix would really like to be close to his family, I imagine if Freeman shows this might help him get here too.

zero interest in Harding.

I'm not super enamored with Freeman - he has decent offensive numbers - but can he play any D? He's never really shown that - but I get that it's slim pickings for C in portal.

Dix is sneaky athletic - and also a really good shooter (and local) - but man did we need that uber athleticism that JN brought. I think Greer is really athletic - but not on Neal's level. I like Dix - but getting a great athlete with some size who Mac can develop like Jemiah would be my preference again.

Freeman isn't Kalkbrenner but has averaged 1.8 blocks per game while averaging about 24 mpg.

While playing for a coach and in a system that didn't exactly prioritize a discernable defensive gameplan. He won't be Kalkbrenner -- but that doesn't mean he is incapable of being solid in whatever defensive role the staff envisions for him with whatever philosophy and gameplan we utilize next year in the post-Kalk era.

+1 Good luck also to Pops' dad, who had some serious health issues this year, but was always really positive.

I fully expected both to leave, although for Mason I am sure it will be quickly followed up by report he is going to Murray State.

Good riddance to Pop. Omaha area 16 year olds can breathe easy. Best of luck to Mason.
