I really don't understand how coaches don't think through the flight thing a bit more. We knew they had a "curfew" and we had to fit two games plus a 30-45 minutes break into a 6 hour window. Even with a 7 inning game, that is not really doable. Why didn't they start at noon or 11 am?

Agreed. 100%. And Blossom was at the second game. Why start at 1 and not 11. Beyond me.

Are you kidding me? It was brilliant, I tell you. Get the walk-off in the 8th with no chance for St. Mary's to rally in the 9th and no need to use up a 9th inning pitching arm. Blossom is sneaky smart that way
