I am told Creighton is currently at the top of his list. By 2014, how much room do we have?

From what I can gather, we have one scholarship that we can use in 2013 OR 2014. If we use it on a 2013 (either Doug leaves or his dad pays), then we're done for 2014 as well.

AceDad posted a story showing that 40% of D1 ballers are gone from their original school of choice by the end of their sophomore year. That is staggering. We have had such low attrition that we have gotten a little spoiled.
The coaches never stop recruiting. Even after we fill up 2013 I bet they stay in contact with kids in case someone reneges on their commitment. These are 17 year olds, it can happen. Especially with slimeball coaches at some schools who keep whispering in kids ears even after they commit to other schools.

Are we full for 2014 or do we have one left? Would be nice to have another local kid.

Thurman had 7 for Central in loss to LB Poly. Tre'Shawn has played well to begin the season

went and saw Thurman for the first time this year. Still very raw, but liked what I saw. Very team oriented, which is not difficult with just how much talent Central possess. However, Thurman has a good shot, has more bounce than any current guy on our team. Still only has one offer (Utah State), but really think teams in the Valley will really start to turn up heat. Also atarget of Mr. Miles down the road in Lincoln. Would hate to lose a Central kid to Lincoln, but our 2014 positions are filled up as of right now. Would have to do some moving and shaking.

Any Omaha posters have insight here? He going the Juco route or waiting to get an offer from someone else? I know that he's basically an unrated recruit, but people have talked about him having more potential than Akoy, and it sounds like tonight he was better than Collier and much better than Harrell (presumably just an off night for a high school shooter who was maybe too excited about the game). I know it's unwise to look too much into one game, let alone an interstate high school game, but I've been moderately surprised to see so little about any interest from UNL or CU for Khryi Thomas or Thurman. Only time will tell, I suppose.

Collier is my player of the game as he single-handedly got Denver East back into the game but Thurman had the play of the game with a posterizing dunk in the 3rd quarter. I'm not an expert scout or recruiter but I can't see us offering Thurman. He's stronger and more athletic than most kids on the HS court but that kind of stuff for an undersized guy will catch up to you really quick when you get to the next level.

The question may well be, "Is Thurman even academically eligible for D1?"
