Neal, Traudt and even a bit of Miller stood out for this game but Kalk gets my standout player of the game.
Positive posts were few and far between for this game while Neal and Kalk played very well.

Coach Mac now has 28 wins at Creighton after trailing by double digits.

Traudt played his best game at Creighton yesterday. His offensive rebound was huge at the end. We gotta give Ashworth more time off the ball. Asking way too much of him with zero breaks.

I’d love to hear your suggestions on making this happen.

In post game presser Mac mentioned giving Neal more on ball time. I hope that works.

Play Zugic more. Zero real reason his conditioning should still be that bad unless the supposed "flu" he had totally wiped out his base, and if it's a matter of learning the scheme, I still think trial by fire for an ex-pro is more than appropriate given our lack of a true ball handler.

I totally concur with that. Throw his butt out there and have him start swimming.

Now, on the other hand…that might have cost us the game yesterday.

I might be thinking too far into it but I’m wondering if there’s not a level of planning going on here for next season. The less Fedor does this year the more it ensures he will need another year to show he has NBA stuff.

Even with Ryan we aren’t doing anything of note this season; I have to wonder if Mac says, if I can have Jackson/Fedor/Pop next season I’m off to a strong start, let’s make that happen.

I just don’t see this team winning more than one Tourney game, even with Fedor.

Don't want to get ahead of myself, but I don't think we'll lose Fedor in the offseason. I think we might as well work him in now and essentially prepare our core group for next year as much as possible. Of the very few flashes of him yesterday, it's clear he's got talent and a pro level of decision making. Why not give Kalk, Steve and Jamiya their best chance of doing something in March?

You’re misinterpreting my statement as a critique. But obviously it would involve more Jamiya and Fedor on the ball. Which neither are pure point guards.
