Yep, Kugler made sure to let the folks watching this game know that his Alma mater embarrassed the Jays earlier this year.

Pop was player of the game — but you can’t overstate Kalkbrenner’s dominance of Dickinson. You’d never know those are supposed to be the two best bigs in the country. Dickinson looked entirely average on both ends, maybe less than average on offense.

We beat #1 KU. Second #1 team we beat in 2 years and you clowns are talking about Nebraska.

KU board is BRUTAL tonight. I won’t repeat what they are calling/ saying about Pop, but you can see for yourself on Rock Chalk Talk. It’s even worse than calling the Jays clowns….

What a great win. I was telling people around me that if the Jays lost by less than 10 I would be happy.
What a team effort tonight. Obviously pop was on fire and Kalk did an amazing job neutralizing Dickinson, but even king came in and hit 2 FTs, Traudt played great d without fouling. Mason hit 2 3’s and Green came in very late but played great d as well and got a few huge boards. Literally everyone that played tonight had at least one moment of positive impact. Not too often you can say that.
And for the second time this calendar year, the Jays beat the #1 team in the country!!!
