If you are referring to the buzz from yesterday, all that was confirmed is that he is guaranteed to be eligible but the timeline is still up in the air. Anywhere from he could be playing tomorrow to he could be waiting until January.
Well, that’s still the best news we’ve received so far.

Fedor comes out of locker room wearing a cape and directly enters game.
Goes 7/10 from three.
Jays win.

I recall the Denzel Mahoney anticipation. He comes into the game for the first time and buries a 3 from the corner. THE SECOND COMING OF MCBUCKETS!
Well, no. Denz was a good player but keeping up with the expectations is sometimes impossible.

Well...you're no fun. I'm all in on the cape idea. Let's stick with that until immediatley proven otherwise.

Fedor is on another level than Denzel, though, let's be real. The guy has like 200+ professional league games under his belt. And Denzel was debatably the best 6th man in the Big East that year. Whole season changed when he became eligible.

It is tough for teams when the team they practice and plan for isn't the same. When Kalk isn't there, Notre Dame's game plan struggled at first. We had problem against UNLV last year when Keylen Boone became eligible the day of our game. It would be nice to do that to KU.

Similar to what others here have already said.

I still don't see him starting.
Pop and Ash aren't sitting.
Neal is really figuring it out and is our best open court player, wing defender, #2 rebounder, #2 assts and leading in steals.
It was heartening to see him stick some threes.
Not to say that Fedor isn't going to play - and a lot. But he has to be able to do at least some of what Ash/Pop/Neal do.

Not gonna happen this late, even if the NCAA's ready to green-light it and just has to hit the send button. I can hear the "NCAA f'in' ambush" and "you guys are always trying to screw us" screams from Lawrence now. To approve it hours before tip would be an own goal.
There is some symmetry to clearing him right before the UNLV game though.

There’s a huge difference between the NCAA clearing a player and the coach or player announcing it. You never really hear when the NCAA actually grants eligibility except when the coach or player announces it.
