Are we allowed to want to win the game, not get boat raced at home, and go to the Elite 8? This has been a shit performance at home on a Friday night against our biggest rival. Many terrible individual performances on top of lots of high level coaching question marks. I might be a little concerned.

Two years ago they boat-raced us at home and we went to the Elite 8. I wouldn’t put much into this one. One time is clearly playing with a whole lot more intensity than the other.

Nembhard, Trey, Baylor and Kaluma are a lot better than their counterparts on this team.

2 years ago we were 1 bullshit foul call from the final four and a great path to a national championship. 2 of the core players from that team are still playing college basketball, but on different teams, and their portal replacements are not the same caliber.

I think another big issue is as much as Farabello could frustrate at least we had a guy like that off the bench. Literally nothing behind the starters on this team.

Not what I meant at alll. We shouldn’t be happy about what we have seen. But I’m not flushing the season. This is the first game many of these guys have played together against better competition. Like two years ago, there is going to be a learning curve.
