Yes, but apparently that’s how the lawyer handling the case has been getting players eligible. Once denied he sues the NCAA, but the NCAA doesn’t have standing so they grant the waiver.

Regardless, the waiver process is a mess

Anyone confirm? Silly me, I had my heart set on seeing #7 out there this season. Would still love to see that happen.

Kentucky fans put up a billboard for one of their players last year. He got eligible in January

So the NCAA wants to waste more of their money, all of which is EARNED BY THE PLAYERS, by denials that lead to big legal fees for them and the player they could have just accepted.

Burn the NCAA to the ground. Greedy and stupid hypocrites.
