Has Isaacs jump shot always looked like this? The minute he plays against a defender with length/height he’s going to struggle. His release point is so low.

Hasn't been much a problem for him thus far. He has over 400 3-point attempts in college already. Quick release, compact motion, can shoot off the bounce or catch. Comfortable shooting from NBA range as well.
Je shot 35.1% on 57 "guarded" catch-and-shoot 3s as a freshman.

Concerned about the entire teams 3-pt shooting. Outside of Ash (46%) and IT (36%) it’s been really bad. Goose eggs from Neal, Miller & Green is VERY concerning, less so with Neal because he brings so many other qualities.

Kalk should be shooting 3+/game.
Miller will hit his, hopefully Green gets his confidence going, stroke looks good

Jays shot very well from 3 against real opponent Purdue. I’m not going to fret too much about a couple games of meh shooting. Ask me again in a couple weeks.

Miller should bounce back.
I dont know what to make of Green at this point. Some of his misses were pretty bad.
Agree that it is way too early to judge Pop's shooting.
We need Fedor eligible yesterday

Unfortunately, we have little knowledge of Jasen’s injury and how it might have affected him.

He seems to have a great sense of how much space he needs to get it off, and it's a quick and repeatable motion, so I think he'll be able to shoot a high% within our offense. If I had to guess, he had a lot of shots last year that he had to take when the Texas Tech offense was struggling and didn't always have the space he wanted

this isn't going to be one of our best 3 PT shooting teams, but a few of the shooters should bounce back as the season goes on. Miller will shoot his usual (just hope he's more aggressive with his shot). Traudt's a shooter, no doubt. Green and Neal will shoot better than we've seen so far, but I think it's a stretch to think they become really good 3 PT shooters. I think Isaacs will be one of our better shooters by the end of the year, and McAndrews has a really pretty shot also
I am counting on Kalk to shoot 100% from 3 PT range all year, though!

Everything looks weird when you got 4s playing the 3 and 3s playing the 2 on offense. On defense it makes containing the dribble even harder for a team that will struggle to contain the dribble to begin with. Getting Fedor eligible would alleviate some of these issues as you’ll have less minutes available for our 4’s to slide down and play the 3.
