Or it could be saying nothing other than he thought other opportunities were more favorable for whatever reason.

I hate this time of year and I can't imagine that Mac loves it either.

I do find it interesting that Kalk and Trey haven't announced anything yet, but they've earned the right to sit back and reflect on another year of their life before making a call.

I'm selfish. I wanted the new Twin Towers of Kalk/Amari. Two three-time conference defensive players of the year in the same frontcourt. Drive the lane on Creighton. I dare you.

But your point is a good one. If Kalk comes back and this is somehow is tied to that, I'll never think of Amari again.

Has anyone ever won conference DPOY of the year FOUR TIMES in NCAA history? That should be reason enough for Kalk to return. History! NIL bags! Legend status! My happiness! He will have it all.

Not sure about all of CBKB, but per Rob Anderson, Kalkbrenner is just the third player in league history to win the recognition more than twice, joining four-time selection Patrick Ewing (1982, 1983, 1984, 1985)

I wouldn't trade Kalk for anyone in the portal. He's that valuable.

AOC was a top tier athlete, tough to compare to that.

Looking at his HS tape from 2 years ago, Jaden looks closer to Ballock than AOC. But certainly not a slouch athletically. Nice shooting form and ball handling.
