Had the pleasure of meeting both Toby and Zach in Las Vegas, not to mention their families. Both of the recruits seem like really high character kids and can't wait to get to Creighton. It speaks volumes that they even made the trip to Vegas in my eyes. They were at the pregame parties thrown by the school at the arena and were decked out in Jays gear.
The future is very bright.

Zach's team starts out 2-0
"The Pierre Boys basketball started their season on Firday as they opened up with a Win against Huron on the road 44-33. Coach Becker's squad came back home on Saturday night to defeat Mitchell 70-56. Zach Hanson scored 22 points and grabbed 14 boards in the Win on Saturday. Lane Severyn completed a major milestone on Satruday as he scored his 1,000th career point."

SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota — Zach Hanson scored the final five points of the game, lifting Pierre T.F. Riggs to a 47-45 semifinal victory over Sioux Falls Lincoln on Friday at the South Dakota boys Class AA basketball tournament.

I'll say it again, he moves really well and seems to have a pretty complete game. Blocked shots and hit a three, excited to have him next year.
