It ain't happening, but count me as one who would take a chance on Emoni despite reports of off-the-court concerns. CU needs a bucket-getter. There probably isn't a better one available. If he truly wants to be a part of a culture and buys in, it's an easy roll of the dice from my no-consequences seat in front of a laptop drinking Dr. Pepper and eating leftover Easter candy. That's right - I'm willing to risk it all.

Definitely have to explore it if he’s interested. He’s a tremendous talent, really strong system/roster fit if he’s bought in, the Miller family will probably have the best info on him with their Penny connections. If the reports coming out on the kid are terrible and he doesn’t seem to be a changed man looking ahead to this season then you stay away.

I trust the coaches to make the right call there. I totally get the hesitations from many but remember not too long ago we took in Marcus Foster who was considered a locker room cancer and could not have made a stronger impact here. Some guys just need a fresh start and Emoni was 17 last season after all. If the coaches sign off AND Emoni is interested (2 BIG ifs lol), go get him.
