Probably to much to ask for but how great would it be if the BYU game in Vegas is right before the Maui tourney. First stop Vegas for a day or 2 and then Maui. :D

Creighton's exhibition game vs D2 Upper Iowa from the NSIC is this Saturday and their coach, Brooks McKowen signed and played for Greg McDermott at Northern Iowa. McDermott knows the NSIC well as he was the head coach at both Wayne State and North Dakota State before moving on to Northern Iowa of the MVC.

If Mac knowing that conference well matters in this game, we are in for a very long season.

Without knowing the coach and conference, this game would never be played. I think it's great that Mac schedules teams where he knows the coach, school or conference.

Maui Jim Maui Classic - Nov 2022.

We already knew this was gonna be Big...the Maui Classic always is.
However, the Jays picked a great year to be in it. This is an excellent
field. Three (3) Top 10 teams, four ranked teams overall (#24), and one just
outside the Top 25. Wow!
Using the Way-Too-Early ESPN rankings - 4 ranked teams plus Ohio St. (27th) in the next 5 teams.
Of course, this will change over the 1st 2 weeks of the season 2022-23.

ESPN Rankings-
#1 - Arkansas
#9 - Creighton
#10 - Arizona
#24 - Texas Tech
#27 - Ohio State
Cincinnati
Louisville
San Diego State
"This is our time. This is our great opportunity... Standing strong - for a great, great future." - Fr Timothy Lannon, SJ
“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” - Nicholas Klein (1918)

We splurged and made reservations for Hawaii. Can’t wait!

Did you book a package for the Maui Invitational? I've been trying to decide between booking package vs. booking my own accomodations. Booking on your own is definitely cheaper but the package guarantees you tickets to the game....
