No idea if BYU will be good this year but this is a good schedule for a young team.

Great point. I'll wager a Creighton pregame at Mike's Let it Fly sports bar.

Solid non-conference. No complaints here. Always want us to upgrade those cupcakes to 200-250 ranked teams instead of 300+ but really only 3 bad cupcakes (pretty usual). Will be similar to our 2017 NCSOS (192 KP) with a so-so tourney and ASU/BYU combined being similar to Wisconsin that year.

We will have to do pretty well against this schedule (9-2 or better) to then survive the BE buzzsaw. 8-3 and better and we’ll still keep tourney hopes. Scheduling order is good since two primers before roadie at Nebraska to prepare us for the tourney. Best guess is 9-2 with 2 of 3 losses from tourney, BYU, @Neb. Should be a good developmental schedule with nice tests at the end with BYU/ASU before the BE gauntlet.

7 home non-con games is an effing joke.

Not really when you can max out at 40 games a year. Moving to 20 conference games takes away home games in the nonconference. You can have the following in a year

6 NCAA games
3-4 Big East tourney games
20 conference games

That leaves 11 roughly to fill. With a 3 game MTE, we are right on par for how many home games we would get in the nonconference.

Good point.

Also, with the introduction of Connecticut back to the Big East, then you've added now 10 home league games.

Speaking of Paradise Jam earlier in the thread, there is scant information available about the tournament and potential packages available to attend. I’m guessing Covid continues to lurk as a disrupter to travel and attendance.

I was on the list that got dibs on heading on the team charter in the past and took advantage for the PJ and for Cayman’s but that was the last holiday tourney I attended so I’m wondering if I dropped off the list. Has anyone had an email from CU announcing the junket?

I am going out on a GTMO limb - we will go 10-1 non-con. What a great schedule for a young team, and our two tough games are home games (ASU true home and BYU almost a home game).
