Stop. The mob isn't going to get the man fired and then sit by and watch one of his assistants get the job. DRock ain't happening.

I’m going back and forth with you on this board right now lol, but I completely disagree. Moser and DRock would be candidates 1a and 1b if this were to unfortunately happen. Hell DRock hasn’t even been here for 4 years. IMO the
mob can pound sand if they aren’t happy with that hire.

I also think Huss would be an easy guy to keep on if you’re DRock or Moser. And I 100% agree that if you jump ship by us canning Mac due to this and we land DRock or Moser you’re crazy. Those are two incredible hires, and the Mac situation couldn’t be more awkward

Well, it's not like we're getting good discussion of coaching/recruiting on the main thread since whatever posts there gets buried by more yelling about "cancel culture" etc. I'll go ahead and start a new thread here that hopefully doesn't get derailed

i agree 100%. I just don't have faith that the pressure won't alter the search.

Another thing to remember is that D-Rock isn't a "Mac guy." He was a Dana guy that was a hold-over. Maybe that matters, maybe it doesn't, but there is at least some distance there? To be honest, D-Rock probably would've been here only a year or so if Drake didn't decide to turn him down twice before

But let's not put the cart before the horse here. Mac is still the coach and I think that TyTy remaining committed (after having any and all opportunities to talk to Mac about what transpired) would go a long way toward avoiding the doomsday scenario everyone is anticipating.

D-Rock’s current staff has strong ties to Chicago and NW Indiana. There, and Iowa/Minnesota would be his present recruiting geographical strengths.
