New Rivals top 150 update today

TyTy- #32 (up 54 spots) 4*
Mason Miller- #76 (down 9 spots) 4*
Ryan Nembhard- #106 (down 23 spots) 4*
Christofilis- Not ranked

And in case anyone cares, here’s some guys we recruited in this cycle
Hunter Sallis- #7 (down one spot)
Jalen Warley- #27 FSU
Tyrese Hunter- #45 Iowa St
Tamar Bates- #58 Texas
Jordan Nesbitt- #80 Memphis
Blake Wesley- #93 Notre Dame
Tucker DeVries- #97 Drake
CJ Noland- #109 Oklahoma
Matthew Mors- #119 Wisconsin
Chucky Hepburn- #124 Wisconsin

It’s crazy that before the TyTy and Mason commitments, we were a little disappointed when we didn’t land guys like Bates, Tucker, etc. I think ratings outside the top 50 or so are a crapshoot, but our guys’ rankings compare pretty dang well to the guys we missed on.

I remember what 2 years ago? When the thought was Hepburn and Mors were the top targets. I am sure they will have a great college career, but Mac has put together a phenomenal class. Excited to see them play in Omaha.

And we have the 14th best class in the country which is the highest in school history.

14th best so far from Rivals and 9th so far from 247sports but that will change after signing date in April and then could change again up until school starts. In 2017, CU early on was #1 in recruiting and fell all the way to 25th on 247sports final listing.
A lot can happen between now and 1st semester but things are looking pretty good so far.

The majority of the 2021 class has already committed to a school. The most we will drop is 2-4 spots on both sites due to reclassifications, which would still be the highest ever team ranking.

I didn’t sense a ton of disappointment about DeVries, if only because Creighton fans more than anyone can understand a son wanting to play for his dad.
“...When people ask me where I went to school at, I probably won’t even say the other school anymore. It’s just gonna be Creighton. This is where I grew, where I learned to be a man and a basketball player. This is where I became Jamiya Neal.”

Miller was probably my number 1 guy this cycle, but I really liked Bates and still think he's a bit underrated. Similarly DeVries was also underrated I think, but I completely understood wanting to play for his dad.

I was a lot less disappointed about Mors and Hepburn (like Mors more than Hepburn despite the fact that I thought Mors was maxed physically). We had a lot of angst back when they committed to Wiscy, but I thought we'd do better.. .and it was more about the big school atmosphere, IMO

Honestly, can't imagine this class being any better than it is... this is just a great class

If TyTy keeps doing what he's doing he is going to end up earning that 5th star behind his name

OWH has a blurb about Saint Thomas, in which the Millard North coach says Creighton is a school that has not offered already that Thomas wants an offer from. However, Creighton is currently holding out for other players.
