Assuming Z goes pro after this year they would have five slots with two filled. I don’t think the coaches would want five freshmen coming in so maybe one or two more frosh, maybe a transfer, maybe keep one in the pocket.
My two cents.
Query: IIR, the NCAA has stated that all students participating this winter will be given an extra year or eligibility and an extra year to complete their eligibility. Therefore, Ballock, DJ and Denzel will all be eligible again next year, is that correct? Am I missing something? While any or all of them may be ready to move on with their lives (I don't see Denzel coming back - but then again, I didn't see him coming back this year), one or a couple might decide to take another run. I don't think Mitch is going on to play NBA or G-league, and I don't know that DJ would get drafted either, though he does have potential, I think, and certainly he and Mitch could go to Europe if they want. In any event, I would take any or all three in a heart beat over about any potential recruit. One way to smooth out the classes is if one or two of them come back next year. Certainly, until each of them states he is moving on with his life, I wouldn't rule out that possibility. And if I have misunderstood what the NCAA stated, then in the infamous words of the immortal Rosanna Rosanna Dana: Never mind.
