If he goes somewhere else other than Drake and it's not us, I'd be really disappointed.

Agreed.
It seems like the right fit for him to play here. Close to home, system that is friendly to his skill set and Big east exposure > Drake...
Anything that is delaying his decision?

I think Iowa State may be a serious contender. Based off what he has said in articles, they are selling him on the fact that they are high major and away games are close to home. Big East away games not so much. That’s not a reason I would choose a school, but who knows.

I think its the second part of the statement that ISU is stressing.

The thing that could give ISU a shot over CU is that Ames is less than half the distance from home -- close enough for dad to go watch a home game and be home in bed before the 10:00 news is over (particularly if they live on the North side of Des Moines area. Granted dad will be out of town with Drake during many ISU home games, but for the ones that do match up with being at home, it provides the best chance for him to be able to go watch - and of course, the rest of the family to get there easily. Hopefully, the fact that they haven't been real good the last few years and his familiarity with Creighton will win out.

I get the appeal of ISU being close, but it ultimately comes down to playing for his dream school or play for his dad.
