Not a shock at all. In the end, a commitment is a partnership, it has to be the right player and the right circumstances. After he reclassified, it wasn't a good fit. Now, we all know Mac. Good luck to Primo at Bama, but it things don't work out, we would be a great transfer location ;)

If he wanted to be a 1 and done then we don’t want him anyways

We 100% wanted him.

There was 0% chance this kid was going to re-classify years to come sit at Creighton. That's just the way it is. It was over once he moved up a year.

It’s amazing to think that Creighton just lost out on a five star recruit because he would not have been able to get on the floor next season. Just thinking about that and how anyone would have felt if you told them five years ago that’s where we would be is so incredible.

I think he could have seen the floor. Maybe he’s good have jumped up to 20 minutes per game if as good as advertised. That would likely be more like 10-15 minutes and that ain’t getting you to the NBA in one year.

If he comes out in the 21 class he would have had a chance to get the 30+ minutes that he wants. As said by others, this was over when he reclassified.

Says a lot that a 5* "1 and done" guy wouldn't be able to get sufficient minutes.

Personally, I'm not all that enamored with a guy who comes in with a plan to play 1 year.
