CU loses out on almost all their recruits, just like almost all other teams. Even Kansas has missed on many players this year.
Most schools offer around 30 or more scholarships a year and sign about 3 or 4 a year. That comes out to missing on up to 90% of your offers. I am proud to say CU was in the final 2 or 3 on Enaruna's list and the same goes for Bowen.

What exactly does CU have to offer him? If you are Enaruna, why would you come to Creighton? Who of Ballock, Z, TyShon or Mintz do you think would sit next year for Enaruna to be on the floor for any significant minutes? if Krampelj comes back, we have 3 guys on the roster now vying for the 40 minutes at the 5, Enruna make 4 for one spot. If Krampelj doesn't come back, you still have 2 other guys to battle for one spot on the floor. Mintz is gone after this year, but we have a transfer and other shooting guards coming in to fill the 4th guard spot the following year. By all appearances, both in observing what is on the floor and listening to Mac talk, he is all in on the 4 guard offense. This is the wave of the future we keep hearing from some of you. So, if you are 6'7" to 6'10" "stretch four", why would you come to Creighton to be pushed into a logjam of other 6'8" to 6'10" guys fighting over the 40 minutes available at the 5? Because if I am watching this year as Enaruna, that is what I see. He might as well go battle for time at a team that has a shot at the final four most years and live the high life of a blue-blood ball player.
So, my bigger question is why did the staff put so much time and resources into a guy who doesn't fit the scheme we are playing? Shoot for more 6'4" shooters and one big banger each year, and leave the 6'7" to 6'10" forwards to the teams that still see value in putting more than one guy bigger than 6'5" on the floor at a time.

Who is going to sit so Enaruna can play the minutes he wants? Mintz? Ballock? TyShon? Z? Jefferson? Mahony is supposedly the best of all, so you have to fit him in also. Because if Mac is going to play a true four and Martin or Epperson, assuming he is back, then someone isn't getting minutes out of those
