KU has mega visits scheduled for the next 2 weeks. All the talk on the boards is about the guys who are reclassifying. KC Star wrote about Tristen, but the boards-gurus not a peep. I think he’ll be a Jay.

With 4 scholarships open, though, will Self wait on a commit from Enaruna to get other guys?
He'll wait on RJ Hampton, for sure, so that's 3 scholarships now. You've also got Juzang, who's presumably a UK lean, and maybe Kyree Walker reclassifying. Will Self wait for either of them? What about Achiuwa? RayJon Tucker?

IMO with the roster they've got (De Sousa status unknown) they'll take two 4s. The only question is if they prefer one or two of the guys they're looking at (like Achiuwa) over the others and are willing to wait on a commitment or if they'll take whoever decides first.

Other thing here is that Self isn't necessarily going to fill the roster. KU's had 12 guys on scholarship instead of the full load several times over the last few years.

Got into Lawrence sometime yesterday, visit was still ongoing today.

You're not wrong. He's definitely an afterthought on their boards.

That's what makes me hopeful. I look at the way they recruited him, and he's an interesting guy to them, but almost an afterthought who they can use as a role player or if they press him into early play, they look to recruit over after they have him.

We are offering early minutes into a clearly defined role. He really could be a star in our system
