Hmmm, move on.

what are our needs? Need some depth at the 4 only.

We've called Pierce from W&M and inquired on Yeboah of Stony Brook.[/quote]

I would contend we really don't have anyone that is truly a 4. I think Mitch is great; but, he isn't a 4. We play Martin, Christian, and Jacob at the 5. I guess you could say DJ is a 4. But, he is still undersized for that position, and his productivity declined considerably after his injury. The lack of size at the 4 killed us all year for rebounding and defense. I really hope we don't leave a couple of scholarships unused for next year.

If we think our only need is depth at the 4, then we are satisfied with 9-9 conference seasons, 17 to18 regular season wins and NIT appearances.

This. Just because we have several players at a position doesn't mean there isn't a need. I think many over hype the "talent" on the roster at some spots.

which immediate impact transfer or high school is going to come in and steal minutes from our guys? We let alot of young guys play this season and they did good, at least in my eyes, considering where they were projected. For all the hype about grad transfers I don't think many would come in and average what they did at their former school. Cashaw was a shadow of his game at Rice, same with Welage at Xavier, Castlin at Xavier, Cremo at Nova, Joseph Chartouny at Marquette. I think the word is out that many of the low-mid major guys that grad transfer up are more role pieces than impact stars in most cases. Thinking a guy like Pierce can come in a displace any of the guys we have on our roster currently, average 30 mpg, 15 ppg and 7 rpg is ridiculous.

The need is depth.

If Martin leaves than the conversation changes completely.

We desperately need rebounding and defensive help. Our most pressing need is the 4 since we don't have ANY 4s. But, we still need to improve our depth at virtually every position.

aforementioned Moore is a quality on the ball defender, competent PG and excellent student. He would be a welcome fit imo as backcourt depth for Z and DM. The 4 spot is still the priority tho. Think there is a lot to sell Enaruna on.

Isn't that decision suppose to be coming soon? He seems like the perfect fit here as a 4, as has more playmaking ability than we've seen at that spot
